I have a master's degree in Counselling psychology and provide services in English, Spanish and French. Originally from Colombia, a country struck by war and violence, I strongly believe in the power of self-exploration, the search for meaning, and the resilience of the human spirit. In my work with people across cultures and backgrounds I have learned that in the midst of difficulty lies opportunity.
My approach to counselling is based on an existential-humanistic framework and I work from a non-judgemental, trauma-informed perspective. I draw from different schools of therapy such as attachment based, emotion focused, and mindfulness practices. I work closely with my clients to build an honest therapeutic relationship, holding a safe, collaborative and confidential space to support the healing process.
I work with children, adults and provide individual, couples and family therapy.
