Everybody has the capacity to heal, but many of us don’t know how. My goal is to create a welcoming, safe space for individuals to bring their burdens and to provide an opportunity to explore paths forward. I believe that every individual is the expert in their own lives, and it is with this foundation that we can work collaboratively together and move towards healing and empowerment.

I work with individuals who are facing a range of issues such as depression, difficulty establishing or maintaining healthy relationships, symptoms resulting from past trauma, cultural adaptation, migration, and settlement. I have a broad experience working with immigrants, survivors of intimate partner violence, individuals, and couples. I have worked with individuals of different ages, genders, and cultures. These diverse experiences allow me to offer a tailored approach that respects and reflects the individual’s unique identity.

I believe that all our social identities interact and contribute to our life experiences and by understanding how we respond to those experiences, we can recognize how the circumstances and past experiences have shaped us. This allows us to find more appropriate responses in times of struggle.

I work from a person-centered framework which means that I use different theoretical orientations to develop a therapeutic style for each client. Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy are just some of the therapeutic modalities that we can explore while working together.
