Have you been in talk therapy before and found that how you see things may have changed, but how you feel hasn't shifted completely? Does it sometimes seem like a war within yourself, experiencing conflicting thoughts or feelings? Are you afraid that if you open your emotional tap, you may never be able to turn it off? Do the options for change or skills to process life's challenges seem elusive or unattainable?
Together, we will curiously consider what may be creating barriers to well-being, explore how trauma/conflict/overwhelm impacts the body and relationships, and learn ways to release, regulate, and reconnect. Inspired by the symbolism of the Madrona tree and the Raven, my approach weaves together strength, renewal, and deep personal transformation using Narrative, Somatic, IFS, Choice Theory, and Experiential techniques. I aim to offer a space where you can show up just as you are: curious, uncertain, hopeful, overwhelmed, or anything in between.
For those seeking support through anxiety, grief, anger, identity exploration, life transitions, relationships, and trauma, here you are invited to step into a space where both the rugged and the radiant are welcome. It is my honour to walk alongside individuals as they uncover insights, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves and the world around them.
I have 10 years of experience in the personal growth realm (Excellence Seminars & The Haven) and completed a 13-month internship. The people I've worked with range in age from 19 to 86, come from various cultural backgrounds & diverse lifestyles, and include fellow counsellors. If I sound like a fit for you, I'd love to connect for a free 20-minute phone consultation.
