Our upbringing creates our stories. Our experiences and relationships shape our lives. We do not always get to choose our past, but, if you are feeling alone and lost, we can start finding change by reviewing your past, understanding your present, and writing your new paper path forward towards the life you want to live. One that is aligned with your values, beliefs, and goals as well as finding others that share those with you.

I am a person-centered and trauma-informed counsellor who has had the pleasure of providing counselling services to a diverse range of populations, such as young adults, LGBTQ+ folks, people in non-traditional relationship structures (polyamory), BIPOC, children of immigrants, and folks with depression and/or anxiety. I enjoy using a collaborative process so that means working with the unique experiences and knowledge you bring into the session. You will be a part of shaping the session in a way that works best for you. Our sessions together will consist of working with your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours through methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, self-compassion, and emotion regulation techniques. I like to tailor my approach to each individual while working from an evidence-based background. My hope is that through our work together you will find the insight and skills to create a path that aligns with you.
